been a while
It has been quite some time since I have blogged.
Some stuff has changed [quit rowing, started liking my football/sports medicine internship, made new friends, habits have changed not necessarily for the best, etc] and some things have not changed.
I'm ready to drop out of school or transfer.
Yea this whole UT thing is getting old...budget cuts, crappy teachers, janky students whole lack common sense, etc.
I'm so ready for this semester to be over. I know I shouldn't wish my life away but this is getting ridiculous. I've lost sight of God BIG time and His plans for me. Sad to say but one wouldn't know if I were a Christian by how I act. I never thought I would resort back to this lifestyle but I have and I'm not too happy with myself. I thank God for my roommate. She is hilarious and can stand my craziness. She is truly a devout follower of God and I see the old me in her. All I can say is pray for me...

the switch has come on
So...
I'm watching Dr. Phil and there is this crazy family on here. The dad has chosen to be unemployed and he keeps thinking that God is telling him to get into these crazy business ventures. And that's when the lightbulb came on. I used to struggle with deciphering what God is telling me to do and what I have chosen to do. I used to think that everything that I went through God brought me to it. And from what I am understanding that isn't necessarily true. It's simple, all I had to do was think: I make my own conscious choices ergo there will be results.
Tell me what you guys think.

bout time
So...
Somewhat good news...
The ICC of the Model UN has issued an indictment against Omar al-Bashir for aiding in the murders of millions of Sudanese citizens. The only problem...no warrant is out for his arrest. Oh yea and another problem: al-Bashir has strong ties/allies in Russian [a SUPER POWER] and China [a country well on their way to being dubbed as a SUPER POWER]. They could do some sneaky stuff; they get good oil prices from Sudan and run the possibility to go to extremes to keep it that way.
The ball is in the UN's court.
Pull through for us!

So...
I went on vacation last week.
We went to New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival.
And unfortunately I missed church cause I've been feeling nauseous.
I don't know what's up with me...
Hopefully I'll feel better soon.
